2019 GLSS RACE SCHEDULE

Merrill, MI – With our 3rd year in the books, we are excited and anxiously looking forward to our 4th year and wrapping up the last details to our 2019 schedule! We have some final details to work out and those weekends are listed as TBA’s. We feel it’s important to give our teams and fans as much information as we can, so they can plan their upcoming season. By including the TBA dates on our master schedule everyone has an opportunity to know the weekends that are being worked on and finalized.

Our season will start once again the first weekend of May at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, MI, with a scheduled rain date for the next weekend, May 10th. Then we will be joining the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour as they visit I-96 Speedway on May 17th. We will end the month with a great 3 day weekend on Memorial weekend with trips to Tri-City Motor Speedway, Crystal Motor Speedway and I-96 Speedway.

June will be packed with 7 races at seven different tracks in 3 states. We have some details to work out for June 1st, but we will be making our first of two visits to Hartford Speedway on June 7th followed up with our first visit of the season to Plymouth Speedway on June 8th. Making our 4th visit of the season to I-96 Speedway on June 14th with a June 15th race still in the oven. On June 21st we’ll make our second visit to Tri-City Motor Speedway and Crystal Motor Speedway on the 22nd, leaving us an open weekend at the end of the month.

Kicking off July and celebrating our nations birthday, we’ll be back at I-96 Speedway on Wednesday, July 3rd for our 3rd Dual on Dirt with the American Ethanol Late Model Series. Then on July 4th we’ll make our first appearance since 2016 to Mount Pleasant Speedway. We’ll travel back to Tri-City Motor Speedway for July 12th, with an open on the 13th (at this point) and a Sunday race at I-96 Speedway on the 14th. On July 26th we’ll be making our first visit this year to Gas City I-69 Speedway with a Saturday race nearby in Indiana that we are working out the details for.

We’ll be off the first weekend of August for the Knoxville 360 Nationals, but will resume with our racing on August 9th at Hartford Speedway and Thunderbird Raceway on the 10th. On the 16th of August we’ll make our final visit of the regular season at I-96 Speedway. On the 30th we’ll wrap up our season at Tri-City Speedway for our final points race of the year, followed up with night 2 of our Great Lakes Fall Sprintacular on the 31st (A rain date of September 1st is already scheduled).

We will be visiting Ohsweken Speedway for the Canadian 360 Nationals on September 13th and 14th, with one last visit to Plymouth Speedway on September 21st. Our final race is tentatively scheduled at I-96 Speedway for October 5th.
